WIRELESS
RFID System
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a contactless auto-ID technology. It uses RF (LF, HF, UHF or microwave) signals to implement a contactless communication between RFID reader and tags so as to automatically identify the targets and obtain data.
A complete RFID system is made up of tags (transponders), RFID reader, and host system. The tags (transponders) play the role of information carriers of RFID systems. Each tag has a unique electronic series code embedded in it.

RI-STU-MRD1-30 Texas Instruments The Series 2000 Micro Reader provides all RF and control functions to communicate with 134.2 kHz HDX/FSK transponders and a host application, on a 30-pin Dual in-line pcb profile. Its equipped with a serial communication interface that works in combination with a low-Q antenna, eliminating the need to tune the system to resonance. It converts the received RF signals to the transponder’s id number, validites and handles the conversion to the RS232 serial interface protocol.
EURIDK4917 AVONWOOD The Eureka UHF active RFID Kit is supplied with an RF reader, wake-up units, cables, tags, software and manuals. The active tag reader is a self-contained unit with 868MHz PCB dipole antenna that decodes/detects iD tags, communicates via TCP/IP over LAN connection, capabble of detecting tags upto 100m in free air.
EURUHFK4915 AVONWOOD The Eureka UHF passive RFID Kit provides an ideal introduction to the technology, supplied with a reader unit, cables, tags, software and manuals. It’s a 4-port reader - a multi-protocol starter kit, capable of long range programming and reading UHF tags.
RWD-MIFARE-OEM RF SOLUTIONS RWD-MIFARE is a complete RFID reader and tag acceptance solutionfor 13.56 MHz Mifare (1k and 4k byte versions) and Mifare Ultralight cards. The reader will support any RFID tags using this protocol including CARD-MIFXK transponder cards. Also a wide variety of tag types are available which support this protocol. The RFID receiver only needs an antenna connected and 5v DC supply to be a fully featured ISO14443A Mifare read/write system. |
