We are continually investing in our website using feedback from you, our customers, to make it easier for you to do business with us. Here are the latest website enhancements.
Enhancements to the BOM tool
Next time you use the BOM tool, you’ll notice a much cleaner screen with more products matched from your list.
- Products will be matched to a specific packaging type based on the quantity you entered. You can change the packaging option from the review and resolve page of the BOM process.
- You can delete individual items (matched or unmatched) by clicking on the “delete” link against each line in the BOM list. Or you can ADD to basket.

Parametric filters now on the left by default
The parametric filters now display on the left of the product listing pages. You told us you prefer this view, as opposed to the top filter view which was previously the default. You can now see more products without having to scroll. You can change the filter layout from the left to the top if this is your preference using the toggle at the top right of the products table.

3D CAD Models
You told us you want access to 3D Models across the site. Traceparts 3D CAD is now live! This is a powerful tool that provides immediate access to 3D models & 2D CAD drawings for free.
The CAD viewer enables designers and engineers to make a quick visual evaluation (view/zoom from any angle) before downloading and integrating into their favourite CAD software.

Enhanced Order History search
You can now search your past orders using any of these search criteria: PO number | Order confirmation number | Product Order code | MPN | Customer part number | Manufacturer | Delivery address | Product details
You can also filter by Order status and Date range.
And remember: you can find the last 5 years of all your previous orders in the Order Status & Tracking, whether you placed the order on the web, by phone, or by another method. You can also see your colleagues’ orders, if you have linked your web & trade account. Log in to use the new search.

Faster search filters
30% of you use the search filters page! And we know some of you find it a bit overwhelming! We have so much technical data and a high number of attributes available.
You can now spped up the selection process. Begins selecting the attributes, and the unavailable values/attributes will be automatically hidden and so that it’s easier to see the choices left to make!
